Crick Boat Show, 2nd to 5th June, Stand Q37
The distinct Fischer Panda UK display trailer is set to stand out as one of the main on-land features at this year’s Crick Boat Show when it offers visitors the unique opportunity to experience live demonstrations of the latest technology.
The complete systems integrator will welcome people onboard its bespoke demo-trailer where they can see, hear and operate Fischer Panda UK’s quiet and efficient solutions. Equipment on display includes its compact AC and DC diesel generators, diesel electric hybrid propulsion, and smart battery management and power electronics systems.
Boat owners will be encouraged to engage and participate in testing the functionality and quiet operation of the systems. The Verwood company’s specialists will advise on the most cost-effective and green solutions for specific vessels and applications, and discuss the full-service capabilities for supply, installation and support.
With a high-profile presence at the 2022 show, Fischer Panda UK can demonstrate how its range of customised systems can benefit OEMs and customers in the inland waterways sector, for both newly-built vessels and retro-fitting, and either cruising or live-aboard.
Fischer Panda UK products will also be a prominent feature on the water this year, with systems available to view in-situ, onboard vessels.
Chris Fower, Sales and Marketing Director, Fischer Panda UK, said: “We look forward to offering the most interactive experience available at Crick when we welcome visitors to our trailer on the quayside again. It is the ideal opportunity for people to ask questions and examine the features and operation of the products for themselves.
“As a company, one of our key aims is to work with customers and partners to help them hit their emissions targets and improve their green credentials. Our systems and future technologies, such as electric propulsion and hybrid power systems, are perfect for canal and waterways vessels due to their environmental and efficiency benefits, so we are expecting a busy Crick Boat Show this year with the chance to meet new and regular customers. We appreciate that boat owners want power and propulsion solutions that are reliable, efficient and quiet for independence away from marinas or shore power, plus peace of mind that they are not negatively impacting their beautiful surroundings along the UK’s waterways network.”
Fischer Panda UK supplies electric and hybrid drive systems in the range from 2 kW to 100 kW, available with voltages ranging from 24V to 360V depending on the power requirements. The company also offers the Fischer Panda Electric Pod Motor, offering a quiet, emission-free propulsion option which requires minimal maintenance. Its compact gensets include the Panda 4000s Neo and the Panda 5000i Neo, plus the AGT DC generators, ideal for efficiently keeping the batteries well charged.
Tickets for this year’s Crick Boat Show are available on the website. The 2022 inland waterways festival includes boat on the water in the marina and on land in the Show Village, chandleries, boatbuilders, marinas, brokerage firms, and food and craft stalls.
